-
The critique and update the DCPS Major Emergency and Disaster Coordination Plan to ensure participation and involvement of Executive Command Staff and local school base operations and compatibility with the District Response Plan;
-
The development of effective strategies for incorporating the impact and significance of organizations, neighborhood facilities, demographics, transportation and other unique characteristics of neighborhoods in which public schools are located;
-
Feedback from DCPS managers to determine compatibility with the District’s Response Plan-Emergency Support Functions; and
-
The implementation of tabletop exercises of a mock terrorist event as a training module for the Executive Command Staff, as well as exercising a proposed draft model for three (3) local schools (elementary, middle/junior, senior).
